Visiting Professor Rounds Online



This program is an Accredited Self-Assessment Program (Section 3) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, and approved by the Canadian Ophthalmology Society  on 16/09/2011. Program expires 30/09/2012. You may claim a maximum of 10 hours for completing all 5 modules (credits are automatically calculated in MAINPORT).  Each hour is worth 3 credits.  Please claim only the hours for the modules you completed. Hours for individual modules are as follows: 

  • Neuro-ophthalmology- 2 hours ( 1 hour each for Dr. Trobe's lecture on optic neuritis and Dr. Margolin on Giant Cell Arteritis)
  • Cornea/anterior chamber- 3 hours (1 hour each for Dr. Anduze's lecture on Pterygium, Dr. Udell's lecture on NSAIDs and Dr. Rapuanon's lecture on Herpes Simplex Keratitis)
  • Vitreoretina- 3 hours (1 hour each for Dr. Koh's lecture on Polypoidal Choroidal Vasculopathy, Dr. Nguyen's lecture on Uveitis and Dr.Chan's lecture on AMD)
  • Glaucoma- 1 hour (Dr. Liebmann's lecture on disc hemorrhages)
  • Oculoplastics- 1 hour (Dr. Tucker's lecture on ptosis)

Claiming credits through MAINPORT is now available under Section 3/Self-Assessment Program
